[ANNOUNCE] Apache Traffic Server 6.2.2 is released!

Phil Sorber
Apache Traffic Server v6.2.2 Released

Apologies for the delay from the end of the vote to the announcement email, the CMS does not seem to like me.

The Apache Software Foundation and the Apache Traffic Server project are pleased to announce the release of Apache Traffic Server v6.2.2! This is our third stable release in the 6.2.x LTS branch, and is immediately available for download at:

http://trafficserver.apache.org/downloads

Upgrading from 6.x should be seamless. Upgrading from the previous releases, 3.2.0 and later, to v6.2.2 should preserve the cache and not require it to be cleared. More details are available at:

https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/TS/Upgrading+to+v6.0

This release includes a number of bug fixes. For a list of what’s changed in this release, please see:

https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/TS/What%27s+New+in+v6.2.x

For a list of all issues for this release, please see

6.2.x will be the last minor version in the 6.x release and is a Long Term Support (LTS) release.

About Apache Traffic Server:

Apache Traffic Server is a high-performance web proxy cache that improves network efficiency and performance by caching frequently-accessed information at the edge of the network. This brings content physically closer to end users, while enabling faster delivery and reduced bandwidth use. Traffic Server is designed to improve content delivery for enterprises, Internet service providers (ISPs), backbone providers, and large intranets by maximizing existing and available bandwidth.

Sincerely,

-- The Apache Traffic Server community
